His favorite race form is stock car race – the most popular type of car racing in America. The cars used in this race must be original production-based cars unlike race cars that are specifically designed for the racing purposes. A stock car race is usually organized on a track that is oval in design and can be made from dirt or asphalt. There is also a stock car race form that is run on roadways, but it is very rare.

Harry Coumnas loves the thrill of car racing and regularly takes part in various stock car racing competitions. He has also met with various minor accidents in these competitions. The most breathtaking was the one when two cars collided in front of him during the third lap of the competition. This caused leaked fuel to ignite in a burst of flames. Trying to avoid the accident, Harry lost his control and crashed into the retaining wall of the field. After this, he was taken out of the car and rushed to the nearby hospital where he remained for a few weeks and later he was discharged. He also suffered a back injury in this accident. His will power, presence of mind and the activeness saved his life that day.
