Harry Coumnas lives in South Africa. He is a hardworking, compassionate, and kind person who is always committed to the welfare of the community. While studying in college, he participated in various volunteering activities, which helped him understand social issues. He spent most of his summer vacations while camping and helping people who are disadvantaged and suffer due to lack of resources. Under a college project, he visited an orphanage where he was deeply touched to see small children who have either lost their parents, or were abandoned by their biological parents. The thought of these children disturbed him for many days and he kept on thinking about their future. He decided that he must do something for educating these children so that they can build up safe and secure future.

After finishing college, Harry Coumnas joined some non-profit organizations that work for the welfare of orphan and underprivileged children. He decided to volunteer his services to the cause. Since then, he regularly participates in the fund raising events organized by the charity organizations and encourages people to offer their support. He motivates donors to offer generously and asks them to donate their old clothes, school supplies, sports equipment, and other items, which can be used by the disadvantaged people. He visits villages in South Africa and distributes the donated items to them. He also volunteers his services to teach at special schools, which are set to educate orphans and adults, especially women.

Along with promoting education, Harry Coumnas also supports charities that promote good health. There are many non-government organizations that strive to educate people in villages and tribes in South Africa about the benefits of maintaining good health. They not only guide villagers about the advantages of hygienic and healthy food, but also make them aware about common infectious diseases and their treatment. They initiate health programs, under which, they visit villages, vaccinate people against various diseases, and arrange free check up camps. They also arrange subsidized medicine for these people. Along with other volunteers, Harry guides villagers on how they can prevent diseases by keeping their surroundings clean. He is always ready to help needy people and plans to volunteer his services to more charities in future.
